Abstract:Non-tuberculosis mycobacteria (NTM) are saprophytic bacteria in environmental resources such as water and soil. The presence of atypical mycobacteria in hospital resources may lead to infections and the spread of aerosol particles through ventilation systems, wind, and even drinking water.
