Abstract: Objective This study aimed to introduce a lytic bacteriophage against Staphylococcus saprophyticus from wastewater in Gorgan, northern Iran. Results The vB_SsapS-46 phage was isolated from urban wastewater and formed round and clear plaques on bacterial culture.
