Isolation of <i>Mycobacterium avium</i> subsp. <i>paratuberculosis</i> from mouflon in Bulgaria

Abstract: Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis (MAP) is the etiological agent of paratuberculosis (John’s disease) mainly in large and small domestic and wild ruminants, and suspected causative agent in human Crohn’s disease.
