Isolation of FLOWERING LOCUS C and Preliminary Characterization in the Floral Transition of Xinjiang Precocious Walnut

Abstract: Walnut (Juglans regia L.) plants typically flower after eight to ten years of juvenile growth. Precocious germplasm, also known as early-flowering or early-mature genotypes, have shortened juvenile phases of one to two years and are therefore crucial for enhancing breeding efficiency.
