“…Experiments were carried out with A. japonicus , previously isolated from Atlantic Forest remnants 17 and deposited as URM 7270 at the mycology collection URM (WDCM 604)/ISO 9001:2015 from the Department of Mycology at the Federal University of Pernambuco, Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil. A. japonicus was maintained at the Laboratory of Microbiology and Cell Biology from the Biology Department of the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences, and Letters of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo, Brazil, in slants of solid culture medium composed of 4% oatmeal (w/v) and 2% bacteriological agar (w/v) 18 .
