Isolation, Identification and Antimicrobial Susceptibility Profiles of Staphylococcus Aureus from Slaughtered Swine in Bishoftu Town, Ethiopia

Abstract: Bacteria's of the Staphylococcus species are major public health crisis which causes a number of human and animal diseases. A cross-sectional study was conducted from November 2017 to May 2018 to determine the prevalence of Staphylococcus aureus in Bishoftu slaughter house from carcasses and lung swab and antibiotic resistance profiles of the isolates found in the swine.
