Isolation and Identification of Streptococcus parauberis From Freshwater Fish in Turkey

Abstract: Streptococcus parauberis is an alpha-hemolytic gram positive coccoid bacterium belonging to the Streptococcaceae family. This bacterium cause streptococcosis is a major disease in cultured fish due to the intensification of aquaculture and causes significant economic losses in fish farm industry.
