Isolated Metastasis of Hepatocellular Carcinoma to the Gallbladder Mimicking Gallbladder Carcinoma: A Case Report

Abstract: Metastasis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) to the gallbladder (GB) through direct invasion is relatively common; on the other hand, isolated metastasis of HCC to the GB is extremely rare. We report here the radiologic finding of an isolated metastasis of HCC to the GB appearing as a polypoid mass in the GB lumen mimicking GB cancer in a patient treated for HCC.
