Island refuges for surviving nuclear winter and other abrupt sun-reducing catastrophes

Abstract: Some island nations in the Southern Hemisphere might survive a severe sun-reducing catastrophe such as nuclear winter and be well-placed to help reboot collapsed human civilization.
