“…Weathering has recently been linked to racial disparities seen within IVF. A study using a national survey demonstrated that Black women pursuing fertility treatments had weathering scores 1.29 times as high as White women’s scores, although this was not statistically significant ( 18 ). Other nonbiological causes such as unequal access to care have been evaluated as potential explanations to account for observed differences.…”
