Is there a difference between aortic and brachial vein blood lipoprotein and total cholesterol levels?

Abstract: SUMMARY OBJECTIVE: Atherosclerosis is a disease of the arteries that is not practically observed in veins. There are a lot of proposed mechanisms underlying this phenomenon.
