“…Additionally, available literature reported an overall 8–23.3% complication rate of laparoscopy splenectomy [ 34 , 35 ], which included massive intraoperative bleeding, visceral injury, conversion to open surgery, surgical site infection, postoperative intra‐abdominal bleeding, intestinal obstruction, and systemic inflammation.
