Is endemic helminthiasis in sub-Saharan Africa the sole reason for the low prevalence of inflammatory bowel disease? Impacts on public health

Abstract: other hand, the helminthic endemic is detrimental to the health of sub-Saharan populations. With regard to the detrimental effect of helminths on infections (tuberculosis, human immunodeficiency virus, etc.), there is a lack of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) but helminths nevertheless reduce the efficacy of vaccinations.
