Irrigation and Debridement for Periprosthetic Hip Infection: Does Timing Play a Role?

Abstract: Periprosthetic joint infection (PJI) is a devastating complication of total joint arthroplasty (TJA). The rate of PJIs in total hip arthroplasty (THA) procedures varies from 0.3 to 2.9%.
