Irregular Migration, Trafficking into Forced Marriage, and Health Insecurity

Abstract: This study focuses on the lived experiences of women and girls trafficked from Afghanistan to Pakistan for forced marriages and highlights the ways they experience health insecurity associated with their exploitation. The primary data for this paper is drawn from in-depth interviews conducted with twelve women and girls trafficked from Afghanistan to the Balochistan province of Pakistan.
