Iron Status and Inflammation in Early Stages of Chronic Kidney Disease

Abstract: Background/Aims: One of the most common causes of anemia of chronic disease (ACD) is chronic kidney disease. The main pathomechanism responsible for ACD is subclinical inflammation.
