Iris Plane Pseudophakoi (Copeland Lens): Prevention of Synechiae Formation

Abstract: SUMMARY The iris plane Copeland lens was inserted in 56 cases. A high incidence of synechiae and retrolental membrane formation was noted. This could be prevented or reduced in severity by the controlled use of pupil dilatation in the postoperative period.
