“…Recent studies show that PPP1R1A is contributing to extending cAMP/PKAphosphorylation cascades in response to activation of G αs -coupled receptors such as βadrenergic receptors in cardiomyocytes [41] and A 2a adenosine receptors in MIN6 cells [42], further supporting a role of PPP1R1A in GLP1R signaling.…”

“…Densitometry of the examined protein bands were determined for each treatment and normalized to corresponding β-actin. Finally, results are presented as fold changes in comparison with the control group (25).…”

“…To evaluate the effect of nisin on the expression of apoptotic and anti-apoptotic proteins, western blot analysis was performed as described previously (Shahrestanaki et al, 2019). Briefly, HeLa cells were grown on cell culture dishes and treated with different concentrations of nisin (6, 12, and 24 μM) and the negative control for 48 h. The cells were harvested using a sterile cell scraper and resuspended in RIPA buffer containing protease inhibitors (0.5 mM PMSF, and 0.5% protease and phosphatase inhibitor cocktails) and then subjected to probe-sonication (Hielscher, Germany) on ice to disrupt cells.…”
