Abstract:The most complex node in LTE-A is the base station referred to as eNodeB. eNodeB consists of two major elements Remote Radio Head (RRH) which consists of antennas and the Base Band Unit (BBU) which comprises of digital modules that processes all signals transmitted and received over the air interface and acts as the interface to the core network over a high-speed backhaul connection.
