IoT-Inspired Reliable Irregularity-Detection Framework for Education 4.0 and Industry 4.0

Abstract: Education 4.0 imitates Industry 4.0 in many aspects such as technology, customs, challenges, and benefits. The remarkable advancement in embryonic technologies, including IoT (Internet of Things), Fog Computing, Cloud Computing, and Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR), polishes every dimension of Industry 4.0. The constructive impacts of Industry 4.0 are also replicated in Education 4.0. Real-time assessment, irregularity detection, and alert generation are some of the leading necessities of Education 4.0. “…Using network traffic, log data, and user behavior, the approach addresses the growing concern about unauthorized access and security breaches in cloud environments by identifying anomalous activity and proactively mitigating potential hazards. The author Anil Verma , Divya Anand and others (2022) of the study [38] presents an irregularity-detection system for Industry 4.0 and Education 4.0 that is inspired by the Internet of Things. It detects anomalies in industrial and educational processes using machine learning, analytics, and real-time data collection.…”

“…The Industry 4.0 also requires new employees and entrepreneurships; thus, engineering education must comply with and, in order to do so, one important tool is the cloud services. On this scenario, Verma [10] et al "recommends the involvement of IoT sensor-based data acquisition methods, AIbased data classification and integration methods over fog nodes". Thus IoT, Fog, and Cloud, constitute three layers of a framework: 1)The Physical Layer or IoT Layer; 2)The Fog Layer and 3)The Cloud Layer.…”

“…Verma et al [10] Demonstrates that Education 4.0 reproduces the bias of Industry 4.0 in its challenges and technologies, even embryonic ones. It considers as applicable technologies, the concepts of Internet of Things, Fog Computing, Cloud Computing and Pervasive Computing.…”
