IoT Based Smart Solar Flower Water Pump System

Abstract: The electric demand of the countries is increasing day by day and the available resources are quite insufficient to fulfill this demand. The reasons are that the conventional energy resources are diminishing and available with finite sources. Due to these reasons, the solar power is one of the promising alternatives that is easily available, pollution free and having higher operating life. The solar system also provides higher operating efficiency for the load, and the cost of the solar panel is minimum. To im… Show more

“…In general, it offers insights into the technique, concept, design, and energy usage of the system. Prof B H Band, and Prof A D Ingole [2] in their study introduced a smart solar flower water pump system based on the Internet of Things. The technology generates 40% more electricity than conventional solar panels by using photovoltaic panels set up like a flower and a dual-axis tracker.…”

“…In some cases in Nigeria, there's loss of power for up to 6 hours. To solve this, renewable energy sources have encouraged in the agricultural system especially irrigation/water pumping (Band and Ingole, 2019). Water pumping is very essential in irrigation process but one of the major issues facing modern farming is air pollution and climate change, fossil fuel and diesel-powered water pumps are not environmentally friendly (Cloutier, 2011).…”
