IoT-based Monitoring and Control System for Hydroponic Cultivation: A Comprehensive Study

Abstract: In this study, we provide an IoT-based approach for observing and managing a hydroponic system. A multitude of sensors is built into the system to assess important factors like temperature, humidity, nutrient levels, pH, and water levels. These sensors are linked to a microcontroller or single-board computer, which gathers and sends the data to a platform that is situated in the cloud for archival and analysis.
