Abstract:Smoking is primarily responsible for the development of chronically obstructing pulmonary disease (COPD), a breathing condition that is treatable and preventable. One of the environmental challenges that cannot be ignored is air pollution. Extended exposed to contamination slows or harms the treatment of the lungs in COPD patients.
