“…A significant ionospheric response to the Chelyabinsk event was detected by different instruments and methods. Large‐scale ionospheric waves and traveling ionospheric disturbances (TIDs) were imaged using low‐orbit satellites tomography, ionosondes, and a coherent radar over the western part of Russia and Siberia a few hours after the fireball explosion [ Givishvili et al ., ; Berngardt et al ., , ].
