Abstract:A toxicity identification evaluation (TIE) was conducted on the effluent from a petrochemical plant which discharges into an estuary. The effluent had been consistently toxic to mysid shrimp (Mysidopsis bahia) but not toxic to sheepshead minnows (Cyprinodon variegatus).
