Iohexol plasma and urinary concentrations in cirrhotic patients: A pilot study

Abstract: BACKGROUND Renal failure is an independent prognostic factor for survival in patients with cirrhosis. Equations to calculate serum creatinine significantly overestimate the glomerular filtration rate (GFR).
