“…Only PV interneurons can be recognized in vivo from their narrower action potential, and are thus known as FS neurons. Preliminary physiological recordings of FS neurons from macaques performing a visuospatial working memory task found limited evidence that β1-AR stimulation could excite a subset of these presumed PV interneurons, consistent with in vitro recordings from rodent mPFC ( Luo et al, 2017 ).
