“…It was previously shown that 1,25(OH) 2 D 3 -induced VDCC-mediated Ca 2ϩ entry into chick muscle cells becomes significantly stimulated after 3 min of hormone exposure [Vazquez and De Boland, 1993], rapidly (30 -60 s) reaching a plateau level.
