Investigations on Some Biologically Active Divalent Transition Metal Complexes with Ditellurium Tetraazamacrocycles
Abstract:Some 10-membered ditellurium tetraazamacrocyclic complexes of Ni(II), Pd(II) and Pt(II) were synthesized by template condensation of diaryltellurium(IV) dichlorides, (aryl = pmethoxyphenyl, 3-methyl-4-hydroxyphenyl and p-hydroxyphenyl) with 1,2-diaminopropane and divalent metal chlorides in dry methanol. Characterization of these newly synthesized complexes was carried out by elemental analyses, magnetic susceptibility measurement and Infrared, proton nuclear magnetic resonance and electronic absorption spectr… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
