Investigations of AE Signals Emitted From Dropped Indenter on Steel Pipes’ Surface

Abstract: Acoustic emission (AE) are stress waves created by the material deformation, which could be utilized to detect impacts of objects within different mechanical systems. In a mechanical system, impacts from dropped masses are pertinent to realistic wave sources where is to improve precision of source location in real situation.
