Investigation on the influence of grinding parameters on surface integrity of substrate in metal additive forging

Abstract: Additive forging technology is an innovative method for manufacturing heavy forgings by using multi-layer hot-compression bonding. To achieve better bonding performance, the surface of the metal substrate needs to be ground and cleaned before hot-compression bonding.
