Abstract:Fiber‐reinforced polymers (FRP) feature high strength‐to‐weight ratio amongst the emerging class of natural composites. This paper presents the impact of the glass fiber on the tensile strength of the flax epoxy laminate. The mechanical behavior and damping characteristics of flax fiber reinforced polymer (FFRP) and the hybrid flax‐glass fiber reinforced polymer (HFRP) are experimentally investigated.
