Abstract:Thyroid neoplasms are the most common endocrine malignancies. ZIP4 is an intramembranous zinc trans membrane protein. Zinc plays a central role in the activation of transcription factors, and zinc transporters. This affects tumour migration, invasion, and cell proliferation.
