Investigation of voltage dip restorer using square wave inverter

Abstract

Abstract-The concept of square wave compensation is studied for the application to the voltage dip restorer in this paper. Both single square wave and dual square wave are used in this analysis. Both methods have shown to have a fast dynamic response as compared to sinusoidal compensation. The dual square wave can also compensate for the zerocrossing and the distortion is small. Experimenta l results confirm the proposed method.
