Investigation of toughening effect of biomass‐derived SiCB on basalt fiber‐reinforced unsaturated polyester composites

Abstract: Fiber-reinforced polymer composites are outstanding lightweight structural materials, so that they are widely used in automotive, marine, medical, defense, and aerospace fields. However, when subjected to structural loads, they are prone to failure due to their inherent brittleness and the susceptibility to delamination, which can lead to the loss of the load-bearing capacity of composite materials. This article proposes an effective solution of innovatively using the silicon carbon black, a kind of sustainabl… Show more

“…[3] Therefore, inorganic/ organic composite dielectric materials, combining the advantages of both two kinds of materials, have become a research hotspot in this field. [4,5] Ceramic/polymer composite material combines high dielectric constant of ceramics, high breakdown strength and easy processing performance of polymers. [6,7] Compared with other dielectric materials currently used, the new type of high dielectric flexible polymer-based composite dielectric materials can greatly promote the reduction of volume and mass, increase of capacitance, [8] improvement of processing performance [9] and increase of energy storage density.…”
