Investigation of the Visual Environment of Railway Station Stairs Using Qualitative and Quantitative Evaluation Methods

Abstract: A qualitative evaluation was performed by comprehensively considering the lighting environment of each staircase of 20 railway stations in Tokyo, the width of the stairs, the type of ceiling, wall lighting fixtures, and the color.
