Investigation of the structure of a CH4/N2-O2/N2 Counterflow diffusion flame using molecular beam and microprobe mass spectrometry

Abstract: The possibility of using molecular beam mass spectrometry (MBMS) to study the structure of counterflow flames was shown by the example of a CH 4 /N 2 -O 2 /N 2 flame. The thermal structure of the flame was studied, and the CH 4 , O 2 , and CO 2 concentration distributions were measured using a microprobe technique and MBMS.
