Çalışmada, temiz enerji üretiminde sürdürülebilirliğe katkı sağlamak için günümüz rüzgar ve güneş enerji teknolojisinin kullanıldığı, hibrit yüzer yenilenebilir enerji santrali tasarımı yapılmıştır. Türkiye’nin kıyı bölgelerini temsil eden 3 koordinat noktasına ait Global Wind Atlas ve Global Solar Atlas yazılımından elde edilen değerlere göre toplam enerji potansiyeli hesaplanmıştır. Küçük 6 tip (10x10 m2), orta 2 tip (20x20 m2) ve (30x30 m2), büyük 1 tip (60x60 m2) alana sahip toplam 9 tip modül geliştirilmiştir. Ancak küçük modül tipleri arasından açık deniz koşullarında altıgen platform yapının en uygun davranış sergileyecek olması ve üzerinde yakın toplam kurulu güç değerleri hesaplanmasından dolayı, küçük modül tip 5 için enerji hesapları yapılmıştır. Sonuçta, küçük modül tip 5, orta modül tip 1, orta modül tip 2 ve büyük modül tip 1’in 10’ar adet kullanımıyla bölgelere ait santral toplam enerji potansiyeli ve karşıladığı konut sayısı hesaplanmıştır. En yüksek santral toplam enerji potansiyeline Ege bölgesinin sahip olduğu sonucuna ulaşılarak, küçük modül tip 5 ile (1830 MWh/yıl) ~500 konutun, orta modül tip 1 ile (4370 MWh/yıl) ~1195 konutun, orta modül tip 2 ile (41930 MWh/yıl) ~11485 konutun, büyük modül tip 1 ile (183960 MWh/yıl) ~50400 konutun ihtiyacının karşılanabileceği ortaya konulmuştur. Aynı zamanda enerji santralinin açık deniz ortamından olumsuz etkilenmemesi için modül büyüklüklerine uygun öneri niteliğinde dalgakıran yapıları tasarlanmıştır.
