Abstract: The recently identified natural product NOSO‐95A from entomopathogenic Xenorhabdus bacteria, derived from a biosynthetic gene cluster (BGC) encoding a non‐ribosomal peptide synthetase (NRPS), was the first member of the odilorhabdin class of antibiotics.
