“…To date, there is no mention in the literature of musical instruments made of bio-inspired ceramics. Also, bio-inspired ceramics are still under development for applications in health and medicine as implants (Dee et al, 2020), in aerospace as turbine blades (Chan J and Le Ferrand, 2022), in defence as protective shields (Duplan and Forquin, 2021), among others. Discussing their use for musical applications could add to this list of potential application.…”
