Abstract:The aim of the work was to analyze the efficiency of solar and wind power plants when they work as part of an integrated power grid using the example of the IPS of the South, to determine the share of electricity that can be generated at RES facilities, taking into account their intermittent operation, and to assess the possibility of balancing the network with a decrease in RES generation at night and in calm weather at the expense of electricity from wind farms in other regions of the IPS of the South.
