Abstract:Direct electrochemistry and electrocatalysis of myoglobin (Mb) on a gold nanorod (AuNR)‐decorated carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE) were studied in this article. The fabricated Nafion/Mb/AuNRs/CILE was used as an electrochemical biosensor for determining trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and sodium nitrite (NaNO2). AuNRs exhibited high metal conductivity, and acted as the bridge between electrochemical active centers of Mb and the substrate electrode with the electron transfer rate accelerated. Electrochemical per… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
