Investigation of the copolymerization of mono‐ and bifunctional monomers of methacrylic esters

Abstract: The relationships of free-radical copolymerization of mono-and bifunctional monomers were investigated taking as an example a model system of monomers: methyl methacrylate (MMA) and 9,IO-dianthrylenedimethyl dimethacrylate (1). The copolymerization was carried out in toluene at 60°C at a 525 : 1 mole ratio of MMA to 1, with AlBN as initiator.
