“…Besides these perovskite oxides, Ruddlesden‐Popper (R−P) structure oxides with the formula of A n +1 B n O 3 n +1 also deserve great attention (A=alkaline earth, B=transition metal, and n =number of octahedral layers in perovskite‐like slabs, e. g., 1, 2, 3, n ). For instance, Sr 3 Fe 2 O 7− δ and its derivatives have been reported as good MPECs and shown outstanding electrochemical performances as cathodes for PCFCs . Liu and co‐workers reported Pr 2 NiO 4+ δ is a promising triple‐conductive anode material for proton‐based steam electrolysis cells .…”

“…Therefore, to meet all the requirements, the most common strategies adopted by various researchers are to form BaCe 1-x Zr x O 3 -based solid solution [28] , as shown in Table 1. Huan et al [29] have fabricated H-SOECs with BaCe 0.5 Zr 0.3 Y 0.2 O 3-δ (BCZY53) electrolyte layer and the electrolysis cells show relatively stable performance in short-term (30 h) testing.…”

“…One effective strategy to improve the stability of perovskite structure oxides in a humid atmosphere is to partially replace the alkaline earth elements by other elements with higher acidity, such as lanthanide elements. For example, to improve the stability of Sr 3 Fe 2 O 7-δ in high steam atmospheres, Huan et al [29,57] maintaining stable crystalline structure over 100 h in 20% H 2 0-air at 1073 K [58] . Recently, Norby et al [8] have investigated the chemical stability of mixed electronic and protonic conductors (Ba 1-…”

“…This process is conducted at bath temperature in the range 45–65 °C [ 296 , 297 , 298 , 299 ]. A versatile explanation of mechanism of electroless plating process based on electrochemical reactions is presented [ 300 , 301 , 302 ]. The reducing agents are anodically oxidized on the catalyst surface while the electrons obtained are transferred to metal ions by a cathodically reduction.…”
