The two short-lived isomeric states in 112In have been reinvestigated by means of the 112Cd(d, 2n) and l~ n) reactions. Measurements of delayed X-and 7-ray, lifetime and TDPAD spectra have been performed. A 6.32(3) keV 7-ray has been identified in the isomeric decay and an M1 multipolarity has been assigned to it on the basis of the measured internal conversion coefficients: c~L = 196 (39) and 0~to t : 231 (35). The E 1 + M 2 (6 = +0.24 (4) After the completion of this work, data concerning the structure of ~12In nucleus [8], investigated by inbeam 7-ray and conversion electron spectroscopy became available. The results of these measurements are in agreement with the present results, where overlap occurs.
Experimental procedure and resultsThe experiments have been performed at the U-120 cyclotron in Bucharest using pulsed beams (pulse width 5 ns, repetition period 35 gs) of 20 MeV e-particles and 13.5 MeV deuterons.
