Investigation of Pollutants Formation in a Diesel Engine Using Numerical Simulation

Abstract: The current study aims to explore the combustion process in a diesel engine and investigate the behavior of pollutant formation at different time events and different locations in the combustion chamber. The time event for maximum rate of production of pollutant soot is also investigated.
