Abstract: Abstract-Investigation of performance and emission characteristics is carried out on compression ignition engine using methanol as oxygenated compound in diesel fuel. Fuel formulations are performed with mixture of additives and methanol content varying from 5 to 15% in volume in relation to the diesel fuel.
