Abstract

This research plays a significant role in developing an improved interstice and traffic management system to deal with mixed traffic conditions in Bengaluru. The research was undertaken on a real-time basis in order to acquire primary quantitative and qualitative data as well as to conduct a content analysis of key components. This enabled the researcher to evaluate various aspects of the issue such as lack of appropriate infrastructure, conditions leading to a rise in pedestrian flow and the present actions taken by responsible authorities in this region.
