Investigation of orientation impact on electrical power of bifacial solar elements

Abstract: Purpose. To develop the integrated mathematical model for definition of bifacial solar element rational power operation in the various operation conditions caused by orientation of solar panels and power influence. Methodology. We have proposed the method of definition of bifacial solar elements irradiation and temperature mode and also electric power production at various orientation of panels. Results. We have made analytical investigations of temperature operation conditions of solar elements and their infl… Show more

“…The presentation of bifacial solar modules is energetically affected by their natural elements since they can recognize light from essentially every heading. Thus, a colossal number of boundaries influence the resulting LCOE, Equation (7) shows how much strong module-related cost (M C ), convincing landrelated cost (L C ), and fixed balance-of-system cost () are displayed in LCOE in the accompanying equation.…”

“…6 The levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) and establishment costs could be essentially diminished because of this cycle similarity, extra energy created by the back-side collection, decreased temperature coefficient, and expanded module lifetime. 7 Be that as it may, because the front and posteriors are not similarly proficient, how much electrical power is produced is not just multiplied. 8 In particular, the bifacial energy gain has been the focal point of the reports up to this point; however, it is not satisfactory if the addition is sufficient to offset the greater expense of a bifacial solar ranch to make the innovation profitable.…”

“…The performance of PV panels have been seen to be affected by wind, dust and light intensity. The effects of the wind were found to depend strongly on wind incident angle and speed, resulting in the formation of hotspots which have adverse effect on the performance (efficiency) of the PV panel [36,37]. The wind has the potential of cooling the panels, allowing low temperature operation leading to improved efficiency (see Figure 8).…”
