Abstract:A near‐UV emitting phosphor, Pb2+‐doped Sr2B2O5 was synthesized by the solid‐state reaction method at 900°C for 3 hours in air. The structure of the phosphor was verified by X‐ray diffraction study which shows monoclinic phase. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) analysis confirmed the formation of Sr2B2O5. The excitation and emission spectra of the synthesized phosphors were investigated at room temperature with photoluminescence spectrophotometer. The emission and excitation bands of Pb2+‐doped Sr2B2O5 were ob… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
